Quay Amusements opened way back in the early 1970’s when everything was either a penny or twopence a go. The early video games like tennis and soccer were five pence to play.

Technology and progress have brought amusement games and entertainment, with graphics, special effects and game programming right up to the forefront and into a new age.

Amusement manufacturers are normally first with any new electronic technology which means that arcade customers are the very first to experience the amazing results.

Quay Amusements is a family business and was recently owned by a very experienced amusement entrepreneur who has had almost 45 years in the business.  In December 2004 the centre came under new ownership as the previous family retired from the trade.  The new owner is, again, a family man who is an amusement centre guru and also runs several other entertainment establishments.

We are open 7 days a week all year round except Christmas eve and Christmas day. In the summertime Quay Amusements opening times extend to include the late evenings until 10.30 pm.

For the benefit of customers and staff, Quay Amusements operates a continuous CCTV surveillance system and also employs security staff from day to day.

There are gaming machines, video games and novelties for the family to enjoy.

We also operate an ‘over 18’s’ area where ‘adults only’ can play for a higher cash prize.

An ATM cash machine is available for your convenience using your credit or debit card.
